Insufficient memory?

Occasionally when I am using access I get a message telling me that there is insufficient memory to open a report. Usually this is when I am opening a report from a form and have opened the same report a short time before eg. doing a search for individual names or data then a full new search. The reports don't necessarily have too many fields or data to view. One is an address db & has about 50 pages, another only 5-10 pages with many fields. Once this happens I have to close Access & start again. Any suggestions?

is your error message something similar to the following ?

"There isn't enough free memory to update the display. Close unneeded programs and try again"

Otherwise, are you running several applications simultaneously ? If yes you should consider how much RAM do you have.
