Intro for Vance Stewart

Hello all,
I am a clinical & eduational psychologist who has been working with Microsoft Access since 1995. I live in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.

I "develop" (i.e., I am not a programmer) clinical, educational, and life enrichment software.

Look forward to learning from and sharing with this forum.

Welcome Vance! I visited Memphis several years ago. Way too hot and humid for my taste, but fun city! Is it Beale Street with all the bands and stuff?

Hello Paul,
I think of Nevada as pretty hot too--but not humid like Memphis can be. Have been to Las Vegas once (honeymoon 20+ years ago).

Beale Street is a major night spot here. Elvis works at the Wendy's there, or so I've heard.

Needing to move my databases to the Cloud but so far it seems very expensive. Looked into Rackspace but not Silverlight as yet.

Do you have any knowledge of this?

Southern Nevada is pretty hot; it's not so bad here in the north, though we've still be around 100 lately. The humidity is pretty low though, so to me not so bad. That humidity kills me.

Elvis can't be there; I saw him recently in Vegas!

I haven't done the Cloud thing yet. Post a thread on it and you should get some responses.
