Invalid argument when trying to open my database

Okay, I hope someone can help me quick! I was entering data into the database, closed it and then tried to open it again, but got this invalid argument error. Anyone experience this before? I could use some help fast!

I think we're gonna need a little more info than that.

Do you have workgroup security in force?

Is the database resident on a remote disk (file server) ?

Do you have the complete text of the error message? If so, please report it.

Does the problem ALWAYS occur in the circumstances you named? See also the next question about timing. Is the appearance of this problem dependent on timing of the close and open actions?

How much time elapsed between closure and re-opening? Are we talking 1 second, 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 1 minute?
