I'm currently using the access sample inventory control database http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/te...001018458.aspx but I need some assistance in modifying it.
I'm working on a database where I can track my swimming pool chemicals on hand quantity and costs. Like I said I have the sample database but one of the issues I'm having is I purchase the chemicals in a quantity larger than I distribute them. For instance the liquids I purchase by the quart but I add ounces to the pool. I may buy 40 pounds of chlorine but I use 1 stick. So I really want to track both quantities and have my on hand reflect 32 ounces vs 1 qt. But when I order I want to order 1 qt. I haven't decided yet if I want to track cost just for the purchase or also cost on the usage. I buy a qt for $32 which is $1 per ounce. So if I add 4 ounces to the pool it cost me $4. I can get a better usage cost along with an inventory cost. Can anyone refer me to some examples of this or willing to help me through it?

Thanks,

Rick

Gizmo,

Yes that is the database I'm using. but unless I'm missing something that doesn't have what I would like to do.
