any patternization to the message? for instance, does it happen first time only that the db is opened?

Does it happen on random openings? what do you mean by ''new databases''??

This may actually be related to the automatic "categorization" that happens in 2010 regarding the "favorites". I've always just disregarded this annoyance, but the suppression might just simply be an option. Check those thoroughly.

Might be a default setting of somekind. That's my suspicion with the 2010 message anyway.

and by the way, I befriended you on facebook since I've helped you out multiple times here. The name is ADAM. :)

Hi Adam,

the message pops up after i programatically add a macro and module to a database. Prior to this and after this, i dont get the message.

btw, i cant see your request in my cp mate. i'll bf you :)

cheers

the friendship was on FACEBOOK, sir. not here, although I guess we're buds here too now.

question 1) why do you say "mate" when you're from England? Isn't that an Aussie term? Or do you guys put shrimps on the barbie too? :p

question 2) why are you creating macros and modules dynamically? That doesn't make any sense. Or at least I've never heard of a situation where that's actually necessary. That sounds like the mindsets of the developers that I work with - you know...those that are obsessed with doing cool programming tricks rather than providing the company with the value it needs to survive in the marketplace.

Hello mate

In answer to the questions-

1. Quite a lot of Brits use the term 'mate'. It's stereotypically associated with Oz but more than likely originated here lol. We also use Pal, Fella, matey etc

2. It's not a cool non purposeful action. It's on a tool of mine. You create stuff in the tool and then pass everything to a seperately db that you browse to. You need the macro and module for it to work in the other db.

Cheers
