is it possible?

i want to have a query that will find all records with an employees name.
is it posible to have a query produce a drop down list of all names entered into the database, and then show all records found matching the chosen name?

im guessin i will probably ned VB?
can anybody help me ?

Make a form with a combobox listing all your people.

In a query, put:

[Forms]![MyForm]![MyCombo]

replacing MyForm and MyCombo with the correct names.

Now, pick one and open your query.

im guessin i still need somthing on the after update on the combo box??
as nothin happens when a name is selected.

You could just put:

DoCmd.OPenQuery "MyQuery"

But you haven't said what you want to happen when someone selects something from the combobox and nobody can read minds.
