Hi All, I am an Office Automation Specialist currently Developing a Billing Tool (Product Name: "Billie Jean") for my friend's shop. He don't want to invest in a Laptop/Desktop Just to enter some Grocery items and to print it's Total. Is there a way to Print Ms Access Reports Directly to a Receipt Printer Just with the Help of a Mobile Phone (No Desktop/ No Laptop) Just a printer and a Mobile Phone.

Is there a Receipt Printer (Thermal/Dot-Matrix) to print from Mobile?

With Hope,
Shafty

Please clarify the context here.

You do realize, I hope, that MS Access runs only on a Windows computer, so if this client doesn't have a laptop or Desktop, your Access relational database application is not going to be usable for him?

You could shop for receipt printers on Amazon or other online vendors. I think it is that case that most would be compatible with mobile devices, but you can figure that out from your search.

So, the part that needs clarification is how you intend to use an MS Access report in the environment, inasmuch as, the client doesn't want to purchase a computer to run it?

Fetch data from cloud... Bake the report. Export to pdf. Print from the mobile

What does that mean? How does the data get into the cloud in the first place? How do you plan to "bake the report"? Export from where?

Again, if the shop owner does not have a computer or a laptop, MS Access is not an option. MS Access runs only on desktop computes or laptops, or on servers on a Local Area Network.

Dataverse!
Access!

Seriously, while it is true that your DATA can be in the cloud, in Dataverse or SharePoint lists, or SQL Azure, or any other cloud database, if you plan to create an Access report to generate the receipt, you have to install Access. And that means a laptop or a desktop computer, or perhaps a tablet that can run Windows and have Office installed on it.

Perhaps, though, you can offer an explanation of how you do plan to implement that step without installing Access.
