Hi,

Wonder if anyone might be able to help me out. In the detail section of Access report, there is three subreports laid out as follows

subreport1
subreport2
subreport3

Depending on the certain criteria, subreport1 and subreport2 may appear in the report. subreport3 will always appear on the report.

The problem that i'm having now is when subreport1 and subreport2 do not appear in the report, thet seem to occupy the space. Hence, when viewing the report, there is a huge gap. My question is whether there is a way of removing the gap there.

Thank you in advance

Make sure that Sub1 and Sub2 are as thin as you can make them in design view. And ensure that they can "Grow" in the property window. Can Grow = True, which is the default I think. This is a simple fix, but it could be enough to sort your issue out. If not, you can move the forms programmatically.
Let us know how you get on.

Lister Is correct in what he is suggesting, however don't forget to set the Can Shrink property to True. Also align the reports to top so they sit undeneath each other with no dead space between the sub reports. If you want to create a space between the reports whilst printing then resize the report header in your sub reports.
