Issues with large data in form

Hi,
I didn't know if this query would best be under "Tables", "Forms", "Queries" or "Reports".
My issue is this:
I have a form which has a control called "Comments". The control source for this "Comments" control is a memo field. I can enter as much information into this control but when I run that information through a query and to a report it will only show the first 255 characters of the data entered.

Why is this happening when a memo field can hold more that 255 characters?
I hope I explained the issue well enough.
Any help would be appreciated

On your form, for this field, have you set the properties to Can Grow?

From Access help :

You can sort or group on a Text field or a Memo field, but Access only uses the first 255 characters when you sort or group on a Memo field.

In other words, when the memo field is part of the query, it will only give you the 255 characters.

I set the control source as the control on the form so that i didn't need to save the Comments information and it bypasses the query.
