Right just upsized a back end to SQL Server 2005 from Access 2003.
And apart from a few small glitches that I think relate to relationships and the setting primary keys which I think I can fix.
Everything seems to be working straight off.
Some points.
I used the upsizing wizard after having been given SQL permissions by the DBA.
I accidentally uploaded my tables to the master datbase - (oops que DBA coming up to personally see what I'd done - (it was a problem with me setting up the DSN ODBC to the wrong place rather than my test area - fixed now (I think))
I tried to only move the tables -
I actively thought I'd keep it simple and just take across the tables first.
Given that I am likely to be only networking this database to about 20 people
Please shoot holes in my setup and tell me what I should watch out for and what probably normal mistakes I am likely to have made for my first time upsizing a database.
