Hello. I'm in Wiltshire, in the United Kingdom.
I have limited experience with Access, but a good working relationship with Word and Excel and, quite some time ago, VBA when developing a database for my employer.
I've been tasked to convert an Excel database into Access, to simplify user data entry, because the Excel version has become very cumbersome. Essentially, it's a record of submitted planning applications I'm dealing with and the action I need to take with them - but I've only got 10 weeks to do it!
Because the data in Excel really wasn't very, erm, accurate, I've had to clean it before importing it in to Access, and then realised I should've done a lot more than I did!
So, apologies in advance for asking questions based on earlier stupid decisions, but that what forums like these are for, aren't they

Nice to meet you all.
Pete
