Bear with me, I'm still learning. If you have been following what I have been posting in other sections you will know that I have been trying to export labels to Word.

Long story short - it was pointed out that I didn't need to export to Word, however after consultation with my End Users it is apparent that; a) they would rather it was in Word to avoid confusion; and b) that they would like to be able to view and edit all of the labels before printing. So I am bound to exporting data.

Now this part is fine, I have written the code etc etc, I have also spent ages getting the report right to fit onto the custom labels the company has - the problem comes when the report is exported - it doesn't keep the formatting and so the labels don't fit anymore! Argh!!

Does there need something in the code to tell Access or Word to keep the formatting or is this just going to be impossible? Really starting to tear my hair out now.

In addition to this, is there any way to get rid of the information box that comes up telling me that 'Some data may not be displayed'..'blah blah'? I know that some margins are outside the page but it doesn't matter as all of the data fits.

I have sorted this issue out now, just made the width a couple of mms smaller.:o

Ref the main problem; I have also tried using a template file but it just seems to ignore this...

What format arer you loosing? is the data in the right places?

Can you provide a sample doc

Could you not use a mailmerge template for the address labels.

Apart from the top ones, the rest of the data is moving up so it isn't in line with the labels anymore(if you see what I mean). It is still spaces out and the space between the two columns stays the same.

It is quite hard to explain and it would be hard to demonstrate I think. I was hoping it was a common mistake. :(

With regards to using a mailmerge template, how do I do this? I have tried saving my template document as an MS Word template and using that but it didn't work and it would also not be available to the End Users.
