Label and text box not working.

I'm building my first form in aCCESS 2013. I've laid out all my fields and moved my labels around and now I'm trying to add a label or a text box. I can drag them down to the form and drag out a size but when I release there is no text box or label. I don't know if it's a limitation factor or what.

I should mention that I moved the accdb from a computer to the one I'm using now. I don't know how that could be an issue but I thought I should mention it.

It should not be the cause of this issue but have you set the Trusted Locations on the new computer yet?

...I can drag them down to the form...
You don'tr really 'drag' Controls onto a Form. Try
  1. Left-Clicking on the Control Icon
  2. Release the Mouse button
  3. Move the cursor down to the Form
  4. Left-Click again and holding the button down size the Control
  5. Release the Mouse button
What happened this time?

i did eliminate the problem by going back to the original computer, file. But I definitely have to do this, "have you set the Trusted Locations on the new computer yet". I have never used this function before. I would imagine I would be doing it on the main computer. Would I be doing it based on a computer name or a directory?

Also, I understand what you're saying about the drag. Very good point and I will be watching the for this.

For a link this is probably the best example I've come across, making it very easy to follow. Thanks for the help.

I also took advantage with the help on the start up forum. As easy as it was you would think I would have done this a long time ago but I never knew it existed.

I also looked at the Navigation tutor. But I never really understood Navigation. I have a forum and don't know how Navigation fits in to the scheme of things.
