I am hoping someone smart can take a look at the attached database and help me figure out a riddle. There is a form (frmMain). Upon opening the form there is an option to select a series - then a color (select *Show All for color). Now you have an option to select the items in the subform to print labels for.

If you select more than one record (two or more) then select Preview and print. Another form opens. This form has an option to select the number of labels for each record. If you select a quantity like - 6, 8, 10, each - then click on Print Labels - a report opens. The problem is:
The quantity for the first record only, is subject to change. So it might show 6 of that record (in labels) the first time you open it, or it might show 4 or 2. It just depends. Each time you close and reopen it the quantity can change. But it's only for the first record (as far as I can tell).

I think any combination of quantity that exceeds the label quantity per page (which is 10) will cause the first record to be inconsistent - if that makes sense.

I'm not sure why it's doing this. I scavenged the module from another database that I located somewhere. So I'm not going to pretend like I understand all of the underlying things.

Any help will be appreciated

You need to set the variable "intLabelCount" = 0 each time you open the report.
Try it now, database attached.

That did the trick. Thanks - i'd have never found that on my own. You saved me a lot of time and frustration!

You're welcome, good luck. :)
