hi
after open DB , Create LDB file,
Now ;
Does May :
- not display after open DB
- or create the other root (Dir.) after open DB
- or Rename ldb file after open DB

Not quite sure what your question is. The ldb file is a locking file that Access uses to keep track of who's in the database and what records are locked, etc. It is a system file that should not be messed with.

Thank You.
But I 'm Like With After Open Db Program ; Ldb File Hidden Or Difference Name Ldb With Db Program.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're trying to ask. Perhaps you can try a different interpreter software or ask a friend who knows English to post?

I am pretty sure the LDB file will NOT be created if you open the MDB in "Exclusive" mode, OR you do not have permissions to Create/Delete in the host folder that holds the MDB file.

How Open the MDB automatic in "Exclusive" mode?

How Open the MDB automatic in "Exclusive" mode?

Open your Dbase , go to tools > options> advanced and click "default open mde " > Exclusive.

Hth

Thanks.
I default Mode in my Dbase Exclusive (tools > options> advanced and click "default open mde " > Exclusive)
Why :
Then double Click Dbase for Run, create .ldb and show in beside Dbase
but :
Then Open Dbase in Access (Exclusive), not Show .ldb file
???

Let me check if I'm reading you.

When you open Access, but not database (just grey windows only), you see a ldb file created.

Then you open a database, and ldb file disappear... Is that you see?

HI; EXCUSE ME
I'm Iranian, and problem in ask.

When you open Access, but not database
No, then open database in access by Exclusive mode (File > Open > Open Exclusive)
I don't see ldb file. (disappear)
Now, I'm Likedisappear ldb file then run the database.

When you open a database in Exclusive mode, there is no need to track who has what record locked because the file can only be opened by one person, and thus no need for Access to create the .LDB file. But remember that if you have a Front End/Back End configuration, you have to open the BACK END in exclusive mode if you want exclusive access to it... opening the Front End in exclusive mode does nothing to the exclusiveness of the Back End.
