I am designing a user input form. I need to record the location for the record, and its grid ref. I draw these from a single table, combined they provide a clear unique ID.
I want my form to have a combo box, which first displays the location names, and when the user selects a location, I want the second combo box to display those grid ref records in the table which relate to that name. (We visit many locations which are big enough to have five or six grid refs, all of which represent differing environments, so need to keep separate records for each).
How do I set up my second combo box so that it limits the potential values it displays to those which relate to the record selected in the first? I'm thinking I have to set up a filter, but how and where?
Thanks
Les
