Linked tables problem , any suggestion?

hi ...

i have this databases in which i wnt to link some tables from the server ...
when i go to linked tables and choose the table i want to link i get this error message :
The Microsoft Jet Database engine could not find the object 'Printlog32.dbf'.MAke sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly..


But the table exists , when i go to link the table i choose the file type dBASE5


so can anyone tell me where my problem is ?

Normally the DBF file format should follow the DOS naming convention, ie. the name is 8 letters with the .DBF extension

i made the name into 8letter i i still get the error message
