linking data from an acess query to a ms word document

I need to link data from an access query to a word document. I am having trobule with this. Anyone know proper steps (in lament terms) to go about doing this. I have tried to do this and it just doesnt seem to be working. I dont know if there is a step that i am missing, but it is getting frustrating
