Hi All,
So after all my previous posts regarding images in databases (which were very helpful and I got working awesome), I have now realised through management that the database will be used internationally and therefore the way I have been referencing images to the database won't work, (I've been referencing file locations on the local server, and this is not accessible off site).
So now I have decided to link image locations to the company's webserver site. Which is accessible from any location. I now run into the dilema of how to link the images on the website to the access database. I have got the images to display on a form using the web browser control, however, it doesn't display like I would like it too. Basically I would like the user to be able to enter the URL into a text box and that displays the picture in an image box. Is there a way to do this? I'm assuming it will require some vba and modules. I just haven't been able to find a workable solution to this problem yet. I will eventually want to display the images in reports, so if anyone has anything to add with regard to that, it would be a great help.
Cheers,
Raymas
