I have a lookup table with 3 columns:

ID
Indemnity Period
Number of Months

What I am using it for is the data entry person on the form will be given options with the column Indemnity Period. These look like fractions 1/4, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6. But for some crazy reason these fractions really mean 4 months, 2 months, 3 months and 6 months.

So I am creating a report that shows column 3 that coincides stating the number of months.

My form looks good with the fractions as an option. My table looks fine with the number of months as the data to report. I also have a query of that table and those look good. But I want to Make-Table and when I run that it's changing the field to show only Column 1 (the id number).

I tried making my bound column 3, I've tried playing with the properties of the field in my query, but nothing seems to be changing it to column 3. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Ok, I keep playing with it, and I went into the make table and changed the field to show the 3 column. This worked (hopefully I don't have to do that every month, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there). Now my BUT is when I export that table to my excel report, it's (you guessed it) changing it back to column 1!!!

I don't even know where to go from there. Is it even possible?

The report is e-mailed to UK on an excel spreadsheet per month. I'm not that experienced with programming and was trying to make an easy process to get the table to the spreadsheet. I tried running the query, but would have to enter the perameters in twice (once to open it and once to export it). So instead I have a step by step process where the user will start report by entering the perimeters and make-table, then open that table to export.

What I'm noticing is the exported information isn't holding onto it's format. So along with the column 1 getting exported, and $ amount fields aren't transferring with the $ sign and I have to manually go in and edit those fields. Mind you this report is currently holding 51 fields. This has not been a fun project. :(
