In my database there are many tables... :)

I have installed a new version of an application that has revised the names of these tables in a new database. I want to try to equate my old tables to the new ones so I can rebuild the links.

Is there a way to pull a list of all tables and export them to a table? Or is there an easier way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Well, the EASY way is...

Use the Tools >> Analyze >> Documenter feature. Go to the Tables tab. Click SELECT ALL. Open the Options to get rid of most of what it will tell you. Just keep table names, no attributes, no details. Then click OK on the Options and click OK on the documenter. It will generate a report.

You can export that report to a spreadsheet, edit the results, save it, and re-import it.

Holly Smokes, That was easy!

Thanks for the tip.
