Login Screen (1 Viewer)

I have created a login form, which is a pop up when the system is first opened. when the correct pasword is entered with the correct user name and the ok button is clicked the pop up closes and the first form is diplayed.

thats fine and working but i now want to display the user name on the first form and close the pop up on just the one click of the ok button. however i cant seem to get this working. i can get the first form to open and display the user name but cant get the pop up to close down.

i know i could just click the close button on the pop up but it would look better if the first form opened with the user name being displayed and the pop up closing all on the one click.

can any body give me any pointers?
