I have several db using fe and be.

One was getting over 100 meg and I could figure out why. I deleted the logo from the forms and reports (at least 18 of them).

And WOW. A 2 meg db. ???????

How can I include a logo on every report and form but not have this size problem.

Remember, I use fe's and be's. So the fe.mde is located on their c:\program files\blah blah. Also the db can so some data locally if they are not connected to the network.

I would appreciate any help with this.

Two approaches.
1. Use a photo editor program to reduce the size of your picture.
2. Have a link to the picture from access. Look at the PICTURE TYPE property for your control.

I tried changing the image to linked. I load the url then the report opens or when the form loads. It seems to work EXCEPT:

Now every record change (single form) the image reloads. The same is true using the MSAccess Switch Board. Every menu click and you can see the image reload.
It this right??? Also I got a couple of crashes.

Is there another way?

Found the crash.
If I scroll records (i.e. next record) faster than the image loads the program crashes.

What does everyone else do with logos?

if possible put it at the header section of form. i think it helps?
