Long Text Fields Appearing as Gibberish in Query

I am runing a guery with multiple tables. One table has two long-text fields and when I run the query, they appear as gibberish symbols. They were working OK previous but now I can't get them to display the actual text.

Any ideas?

Can you post a picture of the query design grid?

Here you go. The fields are from the larger table on the right and are blackened below.

Try changing the Total line from Group By to First for the fields in question.

Check the table in design view if you fornatted the textbox as Richtext.
