You are trying to export tables. Make queries, selecting the fields you need, and export these.

I was using a query, however, I was not selecting the correct tables to include the lookup tables (which makes perfect sense, now).

Although, the lookup wizard is listed, it doesn't work

Usually an installation option chosen incorrectly. You can re-install Office (or Access) to add more functions. It is one of the few installs MS got more or less right.

Do a CUSTOM install to be sure you install all the wizards. Or a FULL install (though usually I don't do this anymore - too much crud that I don't use.)

I think that may be the case, as I had trouble with a macro setting as well.
