Lost Date Function (1 Viewer)

I really need some help with this

All my queries and reports which calculate or show a date don't work it tells me it can't find the funtion, even

=Format(Date(),"Long Date") & " " & Format(Time(),"Long Time")

Which I have in a report page footer won't work, I've reinstalled Access '97 but it still won't work. I just can't work out what has changed

Any ideas are most appreciated
