The past couple days one of our databases has been getting corrupted ALOT. Seemed like before it would need repairing about 1 time per 3 weeks or so. Now it has happened 5 times in last two days.

Anyone know of any possible problems causing this? Could it be people getting impatient with code running and ctl-alt-del out? Any possible solutions or ideas i could try to figure this out.

Thanks

Just an idea. Get everybody out of the db and see if the .ldb file still exists. If it does then remove it, open the db and repair.

Another idea is check the data that has been added since the need for frequent repairs in case there is anything out of the ordinary

Most frequent cause to my knowledge are indeed users shutting the DB improperly (Ctrl+Alt+Del, switch off button, etc...).
As to repairing, the downalodable MS 'JetComp' is a great asset. Get it from the MS site. But of course you must look after preventing corruption in first instance.
