Love/Hate Relationship with Access (1 Viewer)

I have been using MS Access since I was introduced to it (not trained to it) back in 1998, using Office 3.0. I've gone through the various iterations and tried to keep track of the so called improvements but now I am trying something new and I'm not sure I would have know how to do it in an older version either. I want to pull all the e-mail addresses from my database and send a group e-mail to all of them but when I click on External Data, the create E-mail button is greyed out so I'm stuck. :banghead: Any help anyone can give me would be great
