other than autoexec macro, and autokeys macros, there is nothing you can do in a macro, that you can't do with code - and code is easier to manage

Just search Google for Access Macro. Excel and Word also have macros but tye are complete unrelated to Access Macros

Unless things have changed you won't get books specific to Macros. What you buy is a book or books on Access and Macros will be one of the sections of the book like Tables, Forms etc.
