Mail Merge Check Box's

Hello All,
I have a merge system set up between Access and Word. Everything works great but on my Word document i also have Legacy check box's that i'd also like to populate based on check box's in on my access form. Is there a way to do this? I know i can add a check field to my access table that will say true or false in word but i want that check field in access to be a check field in word as well, not just a true or false. please any help would be greatful. thanks

I know this has been here a long time. The simplest solution to this problem is to create a calculated field in your merge query. instead of using the Yes or No use the characters for the symbol you want in the Wingdings or other font face. make sure to create and apply a Character Style to the merge field for the font used to produce the desired results. e.g. use "þ" or "ý" to get an x or check mark when these are characters in Wingdings.
