mail merge

im trying to mail merge one ercord set that is ahown on a form. I have queried the form and tried to mail merge from the query, however the llink does not seem to want to establish itself. When the doc tries to find the data source the only available sources are tables and not queries.

I have also made a table from the query and linked this to a word doc this seems to work although it seems a bit long winded. the DB keeps sending messages, " do you want to perform this action etc".

Can any one help? Do we know f any way of easily sending one record set to word and then saving the document to a file?

I usually export the data to a file and link my mailmerge template to that file. This may not be the textbook way of doing things, but it works every time for me and avoids lots of problems.

Thanks look like a bit of reading. I'll go through that lot and tryto sort my issue out
