Hi,

Is there any way to first open a particular query and then merge the results with a document in word?

Microsoft has knowledge base article here that show you how to set-up an automated mail-merge. I've used it, but you need to keep a copy of the document that Access will be merging with in a static place. I've found it difficult to keep my users from moving the document or renaming it, etc., as they like to keep records of when they've send mailings, and some of them can't quite figure out "Save As". :D
