Hi all!!

I have a database i am creating and everything will be fully doable by the users on forms only, there will be no need to the users to see the tables, reports or access interface.

Is there any way to export a full database so that when the icon is pressed it opens a specific form and that is all the user sees?

The form that opens is the menu and every page can be accessed from the menu, each page links back to the menu so nothing else needs to be seen.

Any ideas ?

Thanks!! :)

in file>options>currentdabase select your menuform for display form option this will automatically load when the db is opened.

You need to define 'everything else needn't be seen' but if you search on this forum this topic has been covered many times. A lot will depend on the level of security you actually want for your users - do they need to use the ribbon for filtering/sorting etc? for example.

Welcome to the Forum,

As CJ suggests you can look around the backend of Access to hide the Database Window/Navigation Pane. You can also look to split the database if you want multiple users to use the database at the same time.

Which version of MS Office are you using?
