Making only one choice on check boxes

Ok, I am completely new at working with Access and trying to figure a few things out.

I have (7) seven different check boxes. I would like to be able to only check (1) one of the (7) seven at time and make the other (6) six boxes inactive (greyed out).

Is this possible?

I think, if this is on a form, you might want to consider an option button, which would accomplish this very thing quite easily.

The easiest solution would be to use an option group, which does that by default.
