marco to open form read only

Hi all
i'm not an access developer but i need to edit a macro.
the macro opens an existing form.
i need it to open the form in a 'locked' state. (i.e. no fields editable)
i made the 'data mode' attribute = 'read only' but the form is still editable.
is there something i'm missing? how can i ask the marco to open the form either as disabled, locked, read only or no edit?

Non Editable Macros

Hi

If you open your macro in design view, on the 'Open Form' option change the data mode to 'read only', that way the form will open in a read only state and nothing can be changed.

Hmm ive got the same prob.

Even tho macro set to open form in read only, you can edit and do anything?

Any ideas?
