Hi,

I am trying to add a chart to a form/report which will show sickness for each month (ie. 12 fields).

When I goto insert - chart and start adding my fields Access tells me I'm only allowed six!

What am I doing wrong?

Cheers
Lee

Some time ago one of our senior contributors made a very good point:
"The Access Chart Wizard is dumber than a sack of hammers".
Excellent advice.
Since then, if I need a chart I export the data to Excel and do it there.
I then inport the chart as a graphic into my report.

that sounds complicated LOL?

This is a nice clever observation. Reminds me something like: You dump guys and I am clever. So there is a situation: I need a chart for 12 criteria. Not like I need, - anyone in Department need the chart to look at any day, by click of the button. Forget Pivot tables they are gone long ago (Access 2013). How about running to build the chart in excel and import it back? It looks to me like pocket solution. Think wider.
