Max Values in subreport

I have several subreports inside a report to achieve a specific report look. I've notice that my count on the report works fine but the "Max Grade" will show more than one value if it finds different values for Grade. In the example report in the database you can see that for "Ear, nose, and throat" there are 2 events but also there are two "Max Grades" listed. Can anyone tell me why it's not just pulling the maximum value?
