Maximizing Forms

I am having some trouble with my forms. Everything works in my database, but the way the forms are resizing is bothering me.

Right now, I have a button on a form that brings up a report in print preview mode, and the report is maximized. This is what I want to happen. However, when I close the report, the form that was open was also maximized, and as I work my way through my database, all the forms are maximized. Is there a way to maximize the report without having the form you came from become maximized as well?
