MDB Project Protection

is it possible that my mdb project can be protected through vb code.
for example no one would allowed to open a form, query, report or vb code in design view or would not be allowed to change in any design. but only who have the specific password.

If you go into a module and select Tools > mdb properties a twin tabbed form will appear click on the protection tab and set you password their. You will have to have it open in exclusive mode though first. Remember to make a note of this password because if you forget it you will never get back in again.

This also prevents users from importing objects into new mdbs without first unlocking the source mdb.

I use this on all my dbs (most are split) but you can still import qrys and tbls - I get around this by putting a diff pwd on the be db.

You can also set the tables and queries to hidden so they can't be seen when attempting to import.
