Hello everyone,

I have successfully created custom menus. and that works fine....

However, I would like to embed (is that the right word?) a menu in a form. Similar to a file menu or something...

How do I go about this? I searched and found some info on "Common Dialogue Control", but I have no idea what this is.

I searched my computer for COMDLG32.OCX, but nothing there...

Where can I get this control? and how do I install it?

And of course, how do I create a menu on a form?

Thank you again!

This is NOT what you want. The Common Dialog control allows you to pick files - a box not unlike the navigation box you get when save a file with Save As.

You can find this by going to:

Insert -> ActiveX Control -> Microsoft Common Dialog Control

Search the forum or Knowledge Base to find out how to use it.

Now that you've created a menu, look through your form's properties. On the Other tab there is a property called Menu Bar - select your menu here.
