Access-Word mailmerge recordquery

Hello, i've made a database in Access 2002 to registrate reservations and customerinfo. Correspondation goes through e-mail after mailmerging the info in MS Word. Unfortunately the numbers of the customerID and the reservationID are not the same anymore, because of deletions etc.
I know there is a way to make a query to let MS Word automatically open the desired record in the Word doc, which we've selected in Access. So when i fill in new info and want to merge it in Word, i click on a button and Word opens email.doc with the selected record.
Can you help me? Please?
