Message box before the report opens

Greetings my friends

I have a report. which based on the conditions, might show zero records sometimes.
Now I want that if the record has zero entries, a message box appears prior to to opening the report that says that 'there are no records for the said condition'.

I guess this will be achievable through vba coding.

How to go about it, any idea will be much appreciated.

A report has an "On No Data" event.

See thats what is called the expert advice. Since Im new to access thus never n=knew we have OnNoData event procedure.
