Message window

in Access 2010 I , early on, had an input field that if left blank would pop up the following window when the enter button was hit:

Microsoft Access /
The Chamber # is required /
/
OK /
______________________ /

the keyer would have to click on OK to get rid of the window and key in the Chamber #.

I am totally at a loss how I did it . Can someone advise me how go about creating such a window with some detail steps explained?

Either making the field required in the table or:

As pbaldy stated, making the field required would be the simplest solution and you can enter a custom message as the validation text
