"Method tried to invoke failed" but it works

I've twice gotten the following error message

"The method you tried to invoke on an object failed"

but had the code apparently work just fine anyway.


How much should I worry about this?

In both cases, it's making a simple calculation on the dollar amt in one box and showing the result in another box.

Check for missing references. On any page containing VBA code, use Tools >> References to get the complex dialog box. Look for any reference to be prefixed by MISSING: (yes, all caps)

Look up "missing references" in this forum for a gazillion hits on the subject.

(This is a stab in the dark - but it is an EDUCATED stab...)
