Hello all,

This is my first post on the forums, and I need your help. I have a friend whose business program was built using Microsoft Access 2.00, done years ago. He wants to change it so that his unit prices for his products are displayed in 3 decimals places rather than 2. At the moment you can change the input to be $0.182 and it'll calculate using 0.182 but it'll automatically display the rounded value of 0.18 and he wants to change that. I am entirely new to the Access program so I am quite puzzled and I cannot even locate any guides or tutorials to this program online so I thought I'd try my luck here. Thanks for your time and help.

Welcome to the AWF!

It is easy to display the number of 3 decimals points on currency or number fields.
Do the following:

1- Goto the form where your currency field is shown.
2- Right click on the form to open it in design window.
3- On the right side of the form a property window will appear.
4- Click on the desire field where you want to change the format.
5- In the property window search for the Format tab.
6- Select the Decimals places to 3.
7- Save the form and open it, you will see the $0.182 in the desire field.

Hope this solve your problem.
