Missing Check Boxes In Multivalued Fields

I'm sure its something simple, however I have spent 2hrs so far so thought I would post my question...

I have created a multivalue field which allows me to select many names which form s a circulation list for a report. The multivalue drop down works ox in table view, however when I am in form view the dro down is missing the check boxes....any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It's not at all clear from your text where the "check box" comes into play. Can you give a little more detail?

Paul, multivalued fields normally have checkboxes in the actual combo box when bound to one of those.

Is this a split database? And if so, is the front end in the same format (accdb for example)?

I managed to make it work in the end. I essentially redifined the field in the table and a new control on the form, and it now works. I think possibly had the incorrect control source although I did try everything initially...should get more sleep!
