I have a database that I created some time back and has worked fine for months. This morning when I tried to run one of the queries it said that it could not find the MSysDb object. If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the hidden system objects, right? What would make this object disappear and how can I restore it?

Hum...

I don't see a MySysDb in the system or hidden objects. Is this one query the only thing that zonks your db?

Think you will need recover by going to your backup.

Do not think that repair will fix

Database has become corrupted I believe

Recommend you go to backup asap to avoid having to backtrack data changes. Be sure not to over write your backup with this current edition

Other queries also give me that error.

Ken - It's MSysDb not MySysDb. Do you see that one?

Am becomming convinced your DB is corrupted.

My bad on the spelling - No don't see that one...

Can you import all the stuff to a new db? I think Len is right that it's corrupted. My guess is that network blinked or some didn't exit properly...
