Does anyone know why all of a sudden everyone but me is getting this error when trying to open my database?
"Missing or broken reference to the file msadox.dll version 2.8"
I have both the FE and BE (Access 2000) on a network drive with a link to a batch file which notes what version of Access the user has (2000 or 2003) and opens the db.
It has been working great until yesterday when everyone started seeing this message. When I open it up (my backup copy and the one on the network just like they do) I have no problems, so I don't get why this would happen.
I know that I will probably need to go around and fix this reference on everyone's machine but would like to have a better understanding of why it would happen in the first place.
Our company is in the process of migrating our Outlook email to a different server and there have been some strange things happening to other programs for many people, could this be just another casualty of that migration?
Thanks for any help.
