Ms Access 2000 on Networking HANGGGGG

Hi friends,

I'm facing the problem which my application I've developed with Access2K Hanggggg in networking, I ve tried it in our networking Server 2K so far no prblem but when I installed it to Novell Server that application HANGGGGGG.

I dont know how to solve the problem, I ve try any solution like compile and compact, compile debug but still facing HANGgggg

Anybody can help me how the best solution to solve this problem? its because Novell server incomfartable with Access 2K?

Access and Novell should work fine together.

I suspect the problem is related to network permissions. Windows networks tend to default to everyone having permission to do anything. Novell networks tend to be the other way, no one can do anything. I would check that your users have read, write and create permissions in the Novell directory. The inability to create a file will prevent the .ldb file being created.

Thanks for you attention....

I've spoken to one of our outside network administartor which maintain our Novell Server.

According to him, problem of our server is using novell netware 2.XXX (too old) then MS Access 2K fault to configure during access to network.

Regarding access to folder actually him already make that folder full permission for our user to update or entry but hang problem still come up.

Did you have any suggestion?
