Hello,

Still trying to figure things out with this software. Never have messed with it much. The question that I have is this. We have about 9 forms that we will be filling out. I was originally going to have it to where you swapped between the forms in order to put the data in that we needed but was wondering if its possible to create 1 single form. Have a Mult Option box in place and depending on how that box is checked will depend on where the data is going to be stored. Is this possible? As I have said i'm new so forgive me for not knowing a whole lot.

Thanks

Thank You Uncle Gizmo,

I think I am following you on what to try. The main reason for our database is to store information in regards to service requests that we get from our customers. A majority of the information is the same. The only difference in the form is cause of the service request. If I am thinking correctly I could possibly do 1 table and have all the information stored in it. I then could use a Mult Option Box to signify what type of request it is. IE Stolen, Missing, Ect. I could then store that Value into another field and then when I get brave to want to learn how to create a search function it could use that field to signfy what type of request it is and I could use an equation to filter out the different types of reports.

Never realized how involved Access could be and the power and functionality it offered. Even though its crazy to learn its actually fun to see it slowly grow into shape.

Thanks
